Going Off Script is one of the best selling titles on Bookshop right now, and for good reason. This magnificent memoir presents an unforgettable story about resilience and faith. The book shares Ruth Doeschner’s life story – from her challenging upbringing in Ghana to her life in the United States of America. A story filled with adversity, hardships, and success; the book is certain to motivate readers to overcome the odds in their own lives.
Sending People to Heaven: The Undertaker is one of the most thoughtful and touching books that I’ve read this year. It shines light on a profession that will affect all of us – but is one that we rarely think about. The novel tells the story of John, a licensed mortician working within the unseen world of caring for the dead.
If you are interested in art that mixes comic, pop art, vintage, and retro styles with Jewish themes, then The Art of Anshie is the book for you. Personally, my background studying art is limited to say the least. But I found Anshie’s work to be fascinating. The book, in a way, felt like a journey through his mind. His art is unlike anything I’ve ever seen, and his attention to the little details is quite amazing.
We could all use a little bit of inspiration, and I hope this book helps. Daily Inspirational Quotes and Sayings is a transformative book that was inspired by the extraordinary beauty of every day experiences. Within these pages, readers will experience a one-of-a-kind work of art that combines the beauty of the visual with the written word.
With the end of summer drawing nigh, I can’t help but be excited for Fall and all it entails—the cooler temps, apple and pumpkin picking at a local farm, apple cider donuts, and Halloween! Halloween was one of my favorite holidays growing up, and I especially loved reading books to immerse myself into the spirit of the season. Now I’m able to share my love of this time of year with my son, and there’s no better way than snuggling up on the couch in the evening with him and one of these fun, spooky books!

Parkinson’s disease was not the end, it was just the beginning.
